While Nigeria’s hopes of getting to the quarterfinals of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup hang in the balance, the other African side, Senegal, has already landed in the last eight.

Building on their nine-goal win over Ecuador, the African champions raced out to a five-goal lead in the first period and never looked back, as the Bahamas struggled to contain Senegal’s attack. Senegal next game is against co-quarterfinalists, Switzerland on Monday.
