CAF Election 2017: Who Should Get Nigeria’s Vote?

On Tuesday, Nigeria’s sports minister, Solomon Dalung, officially endorsed the president of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick to contest for a position in the executive committee of Confederation of African Football, CAF later this month.

As for the election into the position of CAF President, Pinnick was also mandated to use discretion and vote for the candidate that will better serve the interest of Nigeria.

The two candidates are the incumbent, Issa Hayatou of Cameroon and challenger, Ahmad of Madagascar.
