Nigeria’s Amos Adamu, banned again

Nigerian Amos Adamu, a former member of the executive committee of FIFA and CAF, has again on Tuesday been banned for two years by the internal justice of the world’s football governing body, FIFA.

Just a little over three years ago, he finished serving a three-year suspension for suspicion of corruption in the allocation of the 2018 World Championships to Russia and 2022 in Qatar.

The latest ban followed a procedure opened in December, in light of the investigations carried out since March 2015 by the investigating chamber of the Ethics Commission.
