CAF ORGANISES MOMENT OF SILENCE FOR ETHIOPIA PLANE CRASH VICTIMS
Confederation of African Football, CAF has asked for a moment of silence before the kickoff in all the matches of Day 6 of the Champions League this weekend.
One of the matches where the solemn action will take place involves the Lobi Stars vs. ASEC Mimosa of Cote d’Ivoire on Saturday.
This is in memory of the victims of the Ethiopian Airlines plane crash. CAF lost one of its match commissioners, Huessein Swaleh M’tetu, a Kenyan, in the crash.
Sports Village Square reports that Huessein Swaleh M’tetu was returning via Addis Ababa from Cairo where he was the match commissioner of the Ismailia and DRC’s TP Mazembe encounter played on Friday in Cairo

The Kenyan was also a former Kenya Football Federation Secretary General.
