Nigeria: Ikhana Parts Ways with Kano Pillars

The Kano Pillars Football Club board has accepted the resignation of its former technical adviser, Coach Kadiri Ikhana.

The board, in a release by the club, stated that though it got the information through press interview granted the media late Sunday night, it thanked the former technical adviser Kadiri Ikhana, for his contributions to the club.

Kadiri was not in Enugu for the match against Rangers FC but after the match, he communicated with some journalists and club officials from his base in Abeokuta Ogun State,that he had resigned.

“The management of Kano Pillars FC accepted his resignation in good fate and wish him full recovery for the sickness which he said was the reason he quit his job”, the press release stated.

Kano Pillars hope to get a replacement within the week. Meanwhile, the club players have been given a five day mid season break.
