Superstud Ronaldo! Expecting twins to become father of six
Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has announced that he and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, are expecting twins that will make the 36-year-old the father of six children
According to Mirror, the Manchester United superstar posted an image of himself and Rodriguez in bed on Instagram and captioned it: “Delighted to announce we are expecting twins.
“Our hearts are full of love – we can’t wait to meet you.”
The birth of the twins will Ronaldo the father of six children.
Rodriguez already shares daughter Alana, who is three, with the 36-year-old, and Ronaldo has a son named Cristiano Jnr, 11, and twins Eva and Mateo, both four.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner met Rodriguez while she was working as a sales assistant in a Gucci store.
She spent time in England before meeting the Old Trafford icon and learned English, spending time in places such as Bristol and Bath before returning to Spain and working in high-end retail.
Ronaldo told ITV in 2019: “She helped me so much. Of course, I’m in love with her.”
He added that it would be his mother, Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro’s, dream to see the pair walk down the aisle, something the former Real Madrid and Juventus star is more than open to.
“We’ll be [married] one day, for sure,” Ronaldo went on to say.
“It’s my mum’s dream as well. So, one day. Why not? It’s great. She’s my friend.
“We have conversations. I open the heart for her and she opens the heart for me.”
Unfortunately for CR7 right now, things are going less swimmingly on the pitch, with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer under increased scrutiny following the Red Devils’ 5-0 thrashing at home to Liverpool on Sunday.
Ronaldo, who had a goal ruled out for offside, has reportedly been instructing his team-mates not to down tools under Solskjaer, who has escaped the sack this week.
The winger posted following the historic loss to United’s rivals: “Sometimes the result is not the one we fight for.
“Sometimes the score is not the one we want. And this is on us, only on us, because there’s no one else to blame.
“Our fans were, once again, amazing in their constant support. They deserve better than this, much better, and it’s up to us to deliver.
“The time is now!”
Ronaldo also posted an image of him working out in what appeared to be his home gym in Cheshire on Wednesday.
“Hard work is the only pathway to victory,” he wrote.
“There are no shortcuts to glory. No pain, no gain!”
Former England soccer captain David Beckham and actor Gary Oldman were knighted in King Charles’ annual birthday honours list on Saturday, while sculptor Antony Gormley was made a Companion of Honour.
Beckham, 50, joined Manchester United as a trainee in 1993, going on to make almost 400 appearances for the club where he won a string of titles and cups.
He subsequently played for Real Madrid, LA Galaxy, and Inter Milan, as well as captaining his country 58 times and making 115 appearances.
His marriage to fashion designer and former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham in 1999 cemented a celebrity status which went far beyond his sporting exploits.
Oldman, 67, started his career on the stage, where he was a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, before rising to prominence in film. He won the best actor Oscar for playing Winston Churchill in the 2017 drama “Darkest Hour”.
He also had roles in the “Dark Knight Trilogy” and the “Harry Potter” movie series and more recently starred in the TV spy drama “Slow Horses”.
Other famous names receiving honours included damehoods for musical theatre star Elaine Paige, novelist Pat Barker and ceramics maker Emma Bridgewater.
Roger Daltrey, lead singer of rock band the Who and a patron of the Teenage Cancer Trust, received a knighthood for services to charity.
More than 1,200 people received honours for their achievements, with a particular focus on those who had given their time to public service, the government said.
King Charles’ official birthday will be celebrated with the annual “Trooping the Colour” military parade in London on Saturday. His actual birthday is on November 14

Over the past 12 months, counting both his playing salary at Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr and his off-field business endeavors, Ronaldo collected an estimated $275 million before taxes and agent fees—the third-best year by an active athlete ever measured by Forbes.
On that all-time list, Ronaldo is surpassed only by boxer Floyd Mayweather, who earned $300 million in 2015 and $285 million in 2018.
And when it comes to the 2025 leaderboard, Ronaldo has a $119 million advantage over No. 2, Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry.
