BY AKINTUNDE AKINSEMOLA

As the NPFL Youth League entered Match Day Three with the day’s ties ending all square, former Nigeria U17 and U20 international Tony Emedofu has craved an all encompassing Under-17 FA Cup competition for youths.

“After this Under-17 League, they should introduce FA Cup to involve everybody and so as to keep the youngsters busy hence the players will know they have something to achieve.”

“A lot of these players are wasting away, waiting for scouts that will never come.”

Poropo excitedly commended NFF and NPFL for inviting foreign scouts from Europe to have a glimpse of the talents Nigeria have to offer.

“Nigeria Football is rising and is getting to the next level. Had we been like this, we would not have had any problem. I have seen no fewer than three white men who are here because of these talented players. This is in addition to the presence of ex-Super Eagles like Seyi Olofinjana and Yakubu Ayegbeni.”

Tony Emedofu said he would continue to celebrate the organizers hoping that they do not rest on their oars.
