Dalung’s mother goes home on December 23

The remains of Nalkat Yah Chirram, the late mother of Nigeria’s former sports minister, Solomon Dalung will be interred on December 23 at the family house at Sabongida in Lantang South Local Government of Plateau State.

The mother of the former sports minister died aged 90 on November 30. According to a family statement signed by the former minister, his late mother will begin the journey home at 6am when the body is conveyed from the Nigerian Airforce Military Hospital Mortuary in Jos on 23 December to Sabongida, the home town.

There will be funeral service at 10am that day at the family house at Millionaires’ Quarters in Sabongida.

Solomon Dalung served as the Nigeria Sports minister from 2015 to 2019.
