Napoli are targeting two Nigerian players as replacement for Victor Osimhen who appears restless in the club.

The players are Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface and Montpellier’s Akor Adams, both Nigerians.

English publication, 90min reported  that Chelsea are ready to make an offer for Osimhen during the January transfer window as contract talks with Napoli have not progressed since the summer. His current deal is up in the summer of 2025.

Napoli would command a fee which would exceed Chelsea‘s club-record £115m outlay on Moises Caicedo, and 90min understands they are already looking at alternative options to Osimhen in the event that he departs the club.

The Italian champions are monitoring the development of two of Osimhen’s Nigerian compatriots – Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface and Montpellier’s Akor Adams.
