Advantage Super Eagles as Rwanda, Zimbabwe play goalless in World Cup qualifying opener

 The no-win streak that Rwanda has been having since they defeated Mozambique 1-0 in March 24, 2021 has not abated.

They played a goalless draw Wednesday, with visiting Zimbabwe in the Group C encounter.. The result is potentially good for projected group leaders, Super Eagles as they host Lesotho on Thursday. A win will be a good start for the Super Eagles who will be atop.

South Africa, the potential rivals to the  Super Eagles will play their first match of Group C on Saturday when they host Benin Republic.
