According to reports by Napoli, Victor Osimhen’s club, the report on the MRI scan that the striker underwent following injury in the Super Eagles’ Friday match with Saudi Arabia, has not been released.

Osimhen had to leave the pitch after 14 minutes of the second half of the match. But AFP reports that the scan result may be out this Sunday and that Nigerian officials suspect that Osimhen nay have suffered hamstring injury.

“We don’t have to play him again whatever the outcome of the scan,” Peseiro said in an interview posted on social media by the Nigerian team.

Osimhen has six goals in Serie A this season and was the league’s top scorer as Napoli won the title last season. Before Napoli, he played in clubs in Germany and France.
