Three key players will be missing when Mozambique take on the Super Eagles of Nigeria in a friendly match in Portugal on Monday.

The players are David Malembana, Mexer Sitoe and Clésio Baúque.  Malembana, a defender is ruled out on account of injury while Mexer Sitou could not make the trip for administrative reasons, according to Folha de Maputo publication.

Baúque is excused due to the death of his brother. It is also feared that some other players who did not make the trip to Portugal on Tuesday may also miss the friendly match with Nigeria.

They are Shaquille, Edmilson Dove, Ernani, Dominguez, Dário, Dayo and Ivan who were left in Maputo when the contingent departed. They could not obtain visa to Portugal as they were away to Angola when others had their visas to Portugal.  Efforts were being made to get them to Portugal.
