Nottingham Forest have reportedly opened talks with Leicester City over a summer transfer for Kelechi Iheanacho, with the Nigerian at the ‘top of the list’.

If the transfer is effected, Iheanacho may join fellow Nigerian, Taiwo Awoniyi at the club.

The striker has been with Leicester since joining the club from Manchester City in the summer of 2017.

He has just one year remaining on his contract at the King Power Stadium, meaning that the club could be prepared to sell the player instead of losing him for nothing next year.
