Nwankwo Kanu’s fame cuts across Nigeria and the continent to Europe and worldwide for his football exploits. Just as Nigeria have Kanu, so also Sierra Leone can boast of theirs too.

In the Kamara-dominated provisional 38-man squad assembled by Coach John Kiester, their is a Kanu.

He is Idriss Kanu. If fielded this evening, it will be his third cap for Sierra Leone.
