Sierra Leone’s coach, Keister dreams upstaging Super Eagles

Facing a zero option in the make-or-mar Leone Stars’ encounter with the Super Eagles on Sunday, Sierra Leone’s Head Coach John Keister has expressed great optimistic about a positive result.

Sierra Leone are currently third on the Group A log of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying duel which is now on the home stretch, anything short of maximum point spells doom for Sierra Leone.

But in a video clip posted on the official page of the Sierra Leone FA, the coach insisted he would get the desire result despite missing the services of key players.

In the video, the coach explained how determined his squad was, as the team officially pitched camp on Bo City ahead of Match-day 5 duel with Nigeria.

The crucial AFCON 2023 Qualifying encounter is scheduled for Sunday at the S.K.D. Stadium in Monrovia, Liberia

The coach already has the full squad of invited foreign-based players in camp and the injured skipper,  Steven Caulker is fast recovering.

According to the report, the Leone Stars are in top gear ahead of crucial encounter against the Nigeria Super Eagles.
