Two new goalkeepers called up for suspended Uzoho

With Super Eagles’ goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho ruled out of the matchday 5 of the Africa Cup of nations 2023 qualifiers, coach José Santos Peseiro has called up Enyimba’s Olorunleke Ojo and Adebayo Adeleye of Hapoel Jerusamem in Israel as replacement.

They are joined by Rivers United’s Victor Sochima who was on the list called up for Matchdays 3 and 4 two months ago.

 Francis Uzoho became ineligible after picking a second yellow card in the last match with Guinea Bissau last March.

He got booked two minutes into the added time for time-wasting. He had about the same time gotten cautioned for the same reason in the opening match with Sierra Leone in Abuja in June last year.
