Remo Stars are the first to sustain a two-goal lead

After the spate of draws, especially on Match day 3, the Nigeria Premier League championship play-off  finally exploded into goals on Friday as the three matches produced winners.

Rivers United set the tone with a 2-1 win over Bendel Insurance. Remo Stars followed up with a 2-0 defeat of Lobi Stars before Enyimba raised the bar with a 3-0 defeat of Sunshine Stars.
