America-based Imo State women launch global foundation

Imo State of Nigeria women in the United States are launching a foundation aimed at supporting women and girls in navigating mental and health problems.

According to a media release issued by Evangelist Evelyn Childs, the public relations officer of the Imo Women Elite Club, the event holds on Sunday 22 April at the Jazzy J Banquet Hall, Old National HWY  College Park in Atlanta, Georgia.

The event will also witness the induction and inauguration of the Imo Elite Club and the launching of the Imo Elite International Foundation.

The president of the club, Mrs Nkemdi Onyirimba  explains further that the theme of the event is :”Every Woman Wins Global Health Initiative”.

Other officers of the club are Mrs. Mary E. Chigozie, Secretary and Mrs Chika Durueke, the Chairwoman, Planning Committee.
