Lionel Messi’s Ferrari worth more than Michael Jordan’s highest-earning NBA season

According to reports, Lionel Messi has purchased a luxury sports car worth more than the salary Michael Jordan earned in a single NBA season during his celebrated career.

Despite his advancing age, the Barcelona legend remains one of the highest-paid footballers globally, having signed a lucrative deal with Paris Saint-Germain in 2021.

Messi’s yearly earnings reportedly amount to a staggering $110 million, with his salary from the French club standing at $62 million, and his endorsements contributing an additional $48 million.

Messi has an impressive car collection that includes a Ferrari 335 S Spider Scaglietti, which he acquired in an auction for $36 million.

The Ferrari has a 4.0 L engine, a top speed of 300kmph, and is worth more than the highest-earning NBA season of Jordan’s career, which was the 1997-98 season with the Chicago Bulls, during which he earned $33.1 million.

Despite his achievements, Jordan’s salary was dwarfed by Messi’s earnings, who is now regarded as one of the wealthiest and most successful sportsmen globally.
