Ibadan hosts Amender Marathon 2023

Ibadan has joined the league of cities hosting marathon races in Nigeria. The race will be in two categories – three kilomeres and five kilometres.

The marathon is to hold on 29 April. It is meant mainly for students in Ibadan and its environs.

The runners are to be in age bracket of seven for those to be involved in 3 kilometre races and 15 years for those to cover 5 kilometre distance.

The 3km race will start from WAEC junction to Anwarul-Islam Secondary  School Eleyele. The 5km will commence  from Sango to Anwarul-Islam Secondary School Eleyele.

There will cash prizes for the top ten finishers for both males and females.
