Super Eagles have revived their esteem after a first half 1-0 lead over ambitious Guinea Bissau on the match day 4 of the 2023 Africa Cup  of Nations Group A series.

The Nigerian goal came almost the same time that Guinea Bissau scored scored their goal in Abuja. It came in the 30th minute after a Guinea Bissau hacked down a Nigerian attacker.

Moses Simon converted the eventual penalty. With a goal up, Nigeria moved with nine points to the top of the live table.

The goal eased the tension on the Nigerian team as the Guinea Bissau then moved out of their defensive shell.
