It was like  horror a movie as the Super Eagles ran laborously over the field unable to contain a more technical Guinea Bissau side who carried the day with a well deserved lone goal win. They struggled initial made spirited attempts which soon fizzled out as the Bissau boys appeared to have an answer to every Nigerian move.

In four consecutive matches, the Super Eagles have lost all!

And so, the Super Eagles move from a football power in Africa to a lesser power. They over-concentrated their attacking moves on Victor Osimhen who was always well marked.

After the Guinea Bissau took the lead  in the first half, it was panic all the way for the Super Eagles as they struggled in vein to push Guinea Bissau to the wall.

As time and time continued to pass, the visiting Guinea Bissau continued to gather more and more confidence and were even daring upfront.

Guinea Bissau with seven points now lead the group overtaking Nigeria who have six points. Guinea Bissau are the only side in the group without a loss.

Nigeria will play the reversed leg in Bissau on Monday.
