Guinea Bissau’s players in transit at the Gnassingbe Eyadema International Airport, Lome Togo

Guinea Bissau team, are as at 2pm Nigerian time, in transit at the Gnassingbe Eyadema International Airport Lome, Togo. The 25 players called up  are reportedly having a quiet journey and are all well, emotionally available, and will continue with the journey to Nigeria shortly.

The National Team will still train today, following their arrival in Nigeria.

The Guinea-Bissau delegation is headed by the First Vice President of the Guinea-Bissau Football Federation, Celestino Gonçalves. The delegation is composed of players, technical team led by  Baciro Cand.

Other members include, ‘Moreira’, Ivanildo Soares Cassama and Vítor Correia, former football star, also the ambassador of football, Ciro Zé, former Guinean international referee, Fidel Gomes, special adviser to the president of the football federation for the areas of cooperation and international relations, Suaré Baldé, president of the club de Bula, Feliciano Sanca, and sports journalists.
