Victor Osimhen reaches century of goals

Nigeria’s in-form striker has always been in the news, and often for positive reasons.

On Friday night, his goal against Sassuolo which doubled scores for his runaway Napoli side in the Serie A turned to be a milestone, as it his 100th career goal.  

The doors to becoming the next Footballer of the Year in Africa therefore seem invitingly opened for him as he has been very phenomenal this season.

His milestone goal came in the 22nd minute as he received a long pass from Rrahmani and bullied two defenders who were on him. The Sassuolo defenders were expecting him to pass the ball, but he decided to go for goal from an acute angle, and it paid off, as his shot went straight into the net.
