Goal obsessed Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen had to climb through the crowd to offer apologies  to a young girl after unintentionally hitting her with a ball during his warm-up ahead of his team’s 3-0 defeat of Spezia.

But when the Nigerian in-form striker tried to return to the pitch to re-join his team-mates, fans surrounded him desperate to take selfies with him.

One opportunistic supporter leaned in to talk to Osimhen as he climbed over the advertising board.

He went on to score a brace that aided Napoli’s 16-point lead to stay atop in the Italian Serie A.

Osimhen has been in exceptional goal-scoring form so far this season, netting 14 league goals in 16 appearances.

Osimhen joined Napoli from Lille in 2020 for £62.4m, with 43 goals in 82 appearances across all competitions since.

His contract with Luciano Spalletti’s side expires in 2025 and talks over a new deal are thought not to have taken place yet.
