Opening ceremony of FIFA Club World Cup Morocco 2022 to be exceptional

Runners up at the CAF Champions League, Al Ahly of Egypt are set to take on the Oceania champions, Aukland City as the 19th FIFA Club World Cup, originally meant for 2022, kicks off at the Tangier Stadium in Morocco.

With an anticipated full attendance, the gates of the stadium will  open at 5pm (local and Nigerian time)

. Unlike the FIFA World Cup which is for the national team, this is the race for global club football’s most prestigious prize, which will involve seven of the sport’s top sides

The opening match will be held at Tangier Stadium, Ibn Batouta between CAF Champions League runners-up Al Ahly and OFC Champions League holders Auckland City in front of thousands of passionate supporters.

While the game kicks off at 8pm local time, a stunning opening ceremony is also on the card.
