Golden Eaglets’ U17 Africa Cup of Nations opponents emerge this Wednesday

Nigeria’s U-17 football team, Golden Eaglets will get to know their U-17 Africa Cup of Nations Algeria 2023 opponents on Wednesday when the draw for the final competition is conducted.

It will be done at the Cercle National de l’Armée in Algiers, Algeria.

The ceremony is scheduled at 2pm Nigerian time. Twelve teams will be involved in the draw. Nigéria and Burkina Faso are representing WAFU zone B, while Senegal and Mali will represent WAFU zone A.

The other teams are: Algeria and Morocco for North Africa, Zambia and South Africa for the southern Africa confederation (COSAFA), Somali and South Sudan for East Africa while Cameroon and Congo will represent Central Africa.
