The Ogun State Football Association has commiserated with business mogul and philanthropist, Sir Kesington Adebutu who lost his wife, Chief Mrs. Caroline Adebutu last Friday. She was aged 80.
Sir Kesington Adebutu, better known as ‘Baba Ijebu’ runs Premier Lotto, an official lottery partner of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.
In a condolence letter, the Chairman Ogun State Football Association, who is also an Executive Board Member of the NFF, Ganiyu Majekodunmi prayed for the Adebutu family and urged them to stay strong.
“With total submission to the will of God, we at the Ogun State Football Association commiserates with the entire Adebutu family, it’s my prayer that the Lord grant you the fortitude to bear the loss”
“I condole specially Baba Kesington Adebukunola Adebutu, he has been a strong pillar of support for us and we have to share every moment with him, may the rest of his years on earth be super sweet and sound “
Sir Kesington Adebutu is the sole financier of the annual Kesington Adebukunola Adebutu Foundation age grade football competition being packaged by the Ogun State Football Association.
Similar condolence was extended to Ogun State gubernatorial aspirant, Oladipupo Adebutu and his sibblings others over loss of their mother.
Majekodunmi remarked that the Adebutu family and Mama Dame Caroline Adebutu are reference points for good deeds and anything positive.
He described late Dame Caroline as someone who was a woman of virtue, courteous and a woman with golden heart.
He described her death as a great loss to the people of Ogun State and the State Football community which her son, Oladipupo has contributed to in no small measure.
He prayed that God should grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and grant mama eternal rest.
