Cristiano Ronaldo is seeking a move away from Manchester United having been denied one in the summer and David Beckham’s MLS side Inter Miami are planning a hefty offer

According to UK’s Mirror, Inter Miami outfit could offer Ronaldo  a route of out the laboriously struggling Manchester United. .

The Portuguese star made his desire to quit Old Trafford known in the summer, but he was unable to secure an exit after the club made it clear he wouldn’t be sold. Erik ten Hag has used Ronaldo sporadically, though, handing him just one Premier League  start so far.

Ronaldo was an unused sub in last weekend’s humiliating Manchester derby, with the player’s frustration continuing to grow. At 37 there is not a host of suitors for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner and a move to the MLS may appeal with a mammoth £30m salary on the table, according to the Daily Star.

Inter Miami, managed by Ronaldo’s former teammate Phil Neville, and owned by Beckham, have recently entered the MLS picture and have been linked with several superstar names. Their top earner, Gonzalo Higuain, has announced he will call time on his career leaving the franchise looking for a new marquee player.

The only condition the American side have is that Ronaldo joins them on a free, which would mean United forgoing any transfer fee. If the Manchester outfit are to consider selling their player in the New Year, it is thought they would seek around £10m.

United’s top brass appear prepared to keep Ronaldo for the remainder of the season though, even if Ten Hag does use him as a squad player. The Portuguese star is likely to push for a January exit however having spent much of the current campaign on the bench.
