Jamaican runner, Danielle Williams has hailed Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan for her feat at the World Athletics Championship going on at Oregon, United States.

The Nigerian athlete ran incredible races Sunday night to twice set world records in 100m hurdles to become the first Nigerian to win gold at the championship.

Jamaica’s Williams who also took part in the race and finished sixth remarked that Tobi Amusan is her close friend and that she knew the frustrations that the Nigerian had gone through in the past major races.

At the World Athletics Championships in Doha, Tobi Amusan finished fourth just as she did last year at the Tokyo Olympics.
