MFM to start mountain-climbing from Nigeria National League

Mountain of Fire and Miracles (MFM) have had their relegation visa to the second tier Nigeria league, the Nigeria National League confirmed after going down to a 2-1 defeat to Niger Tornadoes in Ijebu Ode.

They began the game going down after 22 minutes when Munir Idris scored the opening goal for Niger Tornadoes.

Fighting hard to avert dropping into the lower league, MFM rallied back with Chukwudi Ekeocha equalising in the 63rd minute. But on the dot of regulation time, Jonas Emmanuel netted the winning goal.
