Former Super Eagles’ target and AS Roma striker Tammy Abraham is considering return to the Premier League amid reports linking him with a move to Manchester United. According to reports from Manchester Evening News, Manchester United will be looking to add a striker to their ranks this transfer window after Edinson Cavani left on the expiration of his contract.
Italian sports publication, Corriere dello Sport has also reported that apart from Manchester United, Arsenal are also battling to get the signature of the 24-year-old after his impressive first season in Italy.
Abraham who was targeted as a possible Super Eagles’ striker in 2017 scored an impressive 26 goals in 52 appearances for Jose Mourinho’s side en route to winning the inaugural Europa Conference League and a sixth place finish in Serie A. Having spent time playing in the Premier League for Chelsea and Aston Villa, Abraham has already addressed the possibility of returning to England’s top flight at some stage.
