Veteran journalist, Tayo Balogun, loses motherin-law

Ace sportscaster, Tayo Balogun has announced the passing on of his mother-in-law, Deaconess Araba Hayford- Adebowale.

She was aged 91 when she died on Tuesday 31 May after a brief illness.

The late Deaconess is the mother to Mrs Subuola Tayo- Balogun wife of veteran broadcaster and sports administrator, Tayo Balogun.

She is survived by a brother and two sisters, nieces, nephews, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren amongst whom are  Rotimi Okpaise, Bolanle Adamolekun and Nchekube Owairu.

Deaconess Araba Hayford Adebowale will be buried in Ibadan at a date to be announced later.
