Ian Evatt has discussed Bolton Wanderers’ transfer window plans this summer.

Nigerian born striker, Dapo Afolayan has been tagged top asset by his Bolton Wanderers manager, Ian Evatt.

The manager has remarked that the club will not be rushed or forced into’ their transfer business this summer as he admits some targets may require more than others to get done.

Incomings are sought and Wanderers also want to keep hold of their best talent, such as skipper Ricardo Santos with talks positive on a new contract for the defender and top scorer Dapo Afolayan.

Evatt has reiterated any interested parties will need ‘deep pockets’ to prise Wanderers’ top assets away from them and there is no pressure at the University of Bolton Stadium to sell either of the duo.

Wanderers are poised to strengthen this summer to add further bodies to the squad to help it challenge at the top end of League One next campaign.

A quality over quantity approach is being favoured at the club this summer after the efforts of previous windows have added a base of talent beyond the starting team which can be further built upon this summer with more reinforcements.
