According to information from Ghana, Coach Otto Addo is expecting a full house by the close of business on Monday night as the team prepares ahead of the World Cup playoff against Nigeria on Friday in Kumasi.

Players invited for the clash have received their air tickets and will be arriving in the country from Saturday night, although the Ghana Football Association has refused to publicly release the list.

Despite the Ghana FA strategy not to release the squad in time for the game, from scoop gathered, the Black Stars are dominated by players who featured at the 2021 AFCON where Ghana placed last in the group and had just one point.

In fact, owing to the just one drawn match, it was a big joke among football fans that Ghana only went to Cameroon ‘to make a point.’

It was gathered that the team will first train in Accra on Monday before flying out to Kumasi.

The four-time AFCON champions will continue with preparations in Kumasi on Tuesday.
