Lionel Messi has won the Ballon d’Or 2021!
Lionel Messi has won a record seventh Ballon d’Or, beating Robert Lewandowski and Jorginho to the title.
The forward inspired Argetnina to their first Copa America title since 1993, ending his long wait for silverware at international level.
He also lifted the Copa del Rey with Barcelona before joining Paris Saint-Germain last summer.
Robert Lewandowski finished second in this year’s Ballon d’Or. The Polish striker has been denied by Lionel Messi, who claims a record seventh title.
Jorginho has finished third in this year’s Ballon d’Or.
The Chelsea midfielder won the Champions League with his club and Euro 2020 with Italy.
He was one of the favourites to win the prize after claiming UEFA’s Player of the Year award.
Karim Benzema has finished fourth in this year’s Ballon d’Or.
The Real Madrid striker scored 30 goals in all competitions for his club last season.
He also won the Nations League with France – his first honour at international level.

N’Golo Kante has finished fifth in this year’s Ballon d’Or.
The Chelsea midfielder inspired his team to the Champions League title, winning UEFA’s Champions League Midfielder of the Season award.
