Morocco 2022: Super Falcons to host Cote d’Ivoire on Valentine day
Caf has released the fixtures for the second round of the qualifiers for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations which finals will hold in Morocco next year.
After overcoming their rivals, Ghana, the Nigerians are to face Cote d’Ivoire in the next round scheduled to hold on any date from next year’s St. Valentine Day to 17 February.
For the Super Falcons it is a date with destiny as they need to revenge their ouster from Tokyo 2020 occasioned by their inability to overcome Cote d’Ivoire in Lagos.
They played 0-0 in Abidjan, but the Falcons had to force the Ivoirians to a 1-1 draw at the Agege Stadium. Cote d’ivoire sailed through on away goal rule.
