Man United ‘reluctant’ to appoint Antonio Conte

Manchester United are considering sacking Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after the 5–0 home defeat against Liverpool on Sunday.

Antonio Conte has emerged as an early favourite to replace the Norwegian in the Old Trafford dugout but nothing has been decided just yet.

According to ESPN FC, there is a ‘reluctance’ within Man United to turn to the Italian manager due to his track record of being ‘an abrasive and demanding character’.

However, the Red Devils understand that the former Juventus, Chelsea. Italy and Inter Milan boss would be their ‘best option’ should they decide to part ways with Solskjaer in the next few weeks.
