Ogun FA chief, Majekodunmi praises ‘Baba Ijebu as Adebutu Cup reaches zonal preliminary stage

The 2021 edition of the Sir Kesington Adebukunola Adebutu Foundation KAAF age grade competition has reached the zonal preliminary stage.

More than 40 age grade teams from Ogun State registered for the tournament proper and the best have emerged to lock horns in the zonal preliminaries.

Chairman of Ogun State Football Association, Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi expressed satisfaction at the manner at which the tournament has continued to progress and heaped praises on Sir Kesington Adebutu for his tremendous support over the years.

He said “The level of competition is very decent, I’m confident that when we get to the final stage, the boys and girls will give a good account of themselves and thrill the dignitaries that will be at the stadium”.

“All thanks to Baba Adebutu, he has been a strong pillar of support, we are looking forward to his 86th birthday and we pray that God will continue to strengthen him”.

Tentatively, the 2021 final is expected to take place in the middle of November
