Ahead of the next season’s inter-club competitions, the Confederation of African Football (CAF), on Thursday  sent a reminder of this month’s deadline to all affiliated nations to turn in their representatives for the two competitions for next season.

According to cafonline.com, it gave participating teams a deadline to complete their registrations on Competition Management System (CMS) or forget participation in both CAF Champions League and the Confederation Cup competitions.

The continental body had stated that registration will end on the 15th of this month but the preliminary draw for the competitions will go ahead today in Cairo.

Interestingly, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has less worries since the football season officially ended last Sunday with the completion of the Aiteo Federation Cup which was won by Bayelsa United.

Four Nigeria clubs namely: Akwa United, Rivers Unite, Enyimba international, and Bayelsa United will represent Nigeria in the two competitions meaning Nigeria is among the nations that have completed its season.

In all, 105 clubs according to CAF will take part in the next editions of the inter-club competitions starting from September 2021.
