Nigeria’s Vice President’s home town, Ikenne set to host Ogun FA Cup Semi-Final matches

The Semi-Final matches of the ongoing Ogun State FA cup will hold this Sunday, 13th June, 2021, at the Remo Star Stadium, in Ikenne, Ogun State, the home town of Nigeria’s late sage Obafemi Awolowo and that of the current Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osibajo.

The State FA Cup kicked-off with the first round of matches on Wednesday.

The first and second Semi-Final matches are set to kick-off simultaneously  by 10a.m as the stadium has two pitches. The first match will see Gateway United Football Club take on Ijebu United Football Club.

While  the second Semi-Final  will have Nilayo Football Club trading tackles with Easy Well Football Club.

All Covid-19 protocols will be strictly observed before, during and after the matches. All the two matches will be played under the close door,while fans or any club Supporters will not be allowed into the stadium.

Match 1

  • Gateway United FC  vs. Ijebu United FC – 10 am – Ikenne.

Match 2.

  • FC Nilayo vs. Easy Well FC – 10 am – Ikenne.
