The board of FC Barcelona believes that this summer is not the best time to get their former player, Neymar of Brazil back into the club he left in 2017.

According to Spanish publication, Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona management are hoping to sign the player after 2022 when his current deal with PSG would have been over.

Barca’s priorities are signing a new deal with Lionel Messi and landing a top-quality attacker but not Neymar, it is said.

The 29-year-old eyes Barcelona comeback already this summer, according to multiple sources.

The forward has netted 13 goals and provided 5 assists for PSG across all competitions this term.
