The last match of the Group L of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying duel involving Sierra Leone and Benin Republic is shrouded in confusion.

The match moved to Conakry, Guinea over bad facilities in Freetown could not kickoff at the scheduled 5pm time owing to Benin players refusing to come off their bus for the match.

That was precipitated by Sierra Leone disqualifying nearly half of the starting line-up of Benin, claiming they tested positive to Covid-19.

The Benin team claimed they all went through Covid-19 tests and the results were negative. CAF has not officially responded. But last checks indicated that the match may kickoff at 8pm.
