Manchester United were in scintillating form as the crushed German side, RB Leipzig 5-0 at Old Trafford to make it two wins from two in the Champions League.

Great thanks to Marcus Rashford  who came off the bench to score a hattrick . Two other goals from Mason Greenwood and Anthony Martial completed the rout.

United went into the game off the back of a 0-0 draw with Chelsea on Saturday and they kept another clean sheet and were never troubled by Julian Nagelsmann’s side.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made five changes from the team that lined up against Chelsea, with Nemanja Matic, Greenwood, Paul Pogba, Donny van de Beek and Martial all coming in.

Greenwood opened the scoring in the first half but it was the man who replaced him that sealed the win for United, with Rashford, introduced in the 63rd minute, in irresistible form as he scored twice within 15 minutes of coming on to put the game out of reach.

Anthony Martial scored from the penalty spot after he was felled in the box before Rashford wrapped up his treble in stoppage time.
