As the clock ticks to 11pm this Monday when the current Transfer window will lapse, Chelsea are reportedly in discussions with Inter Milan over a new loan deal for Nigeria’s Victor Moses.
The 29-year-old is out of contract next summer so Chelsea are reluctant to let him go without agreeing a fee. Moses joined Inter last January with an option to buy but that agreement has lapsed.
Moses joined Chelsea in 2012 from Wigan Athletic and has made over 120 appearances for the Stamford Bridge club but has also had five spells out on loan during that time.
Inter did have an option to sign him in a permanent deal, after taking him on loan last term but that expired over the summer. The Italian side are going back to the well though, with the wing-back set for his sixth loan departure away from Stamford Bridge in the last eight years.
Meanwhile, Inter are continuing to offer former Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen to clubs across England and Europe.
The Dane has failed to make an impression following his move from Spurs and the Italians have been looking to cut their losses and recoup his wages.
Chelsea’s talks with Juventus over a loan with option deal for Emerson Palmieri have collapsed with the Italian champions focusing their finances on a deal to sign Federico Chiesa from Fiorentina.
Fiorentina have asked about Watford winger Gerard Deulofeu though he may hold out to see what offers come from the Premier League next week.
