BARCELONA PRESIDENT, BARTOMEU’S TENURE NEARS AN END

Published

on

The move to vote out the president of FC Barcelona, Josep Maria Bartomeu has gathered steam as 13,574 signatures have been validated since the screening exercise began last week.

Of the signatures checked, only 669 failed the test. This means that less than 3,000 signatures are left to be approved.

In concrete terms, there are just 2,926 among the remaining 5,731 signatures that need to be accepted in order for the motion to be successful.

If everything is alright, the next step will be the vote of all 154,000 ‘socios’ (official club members) where the current board’s fate will be decided.
