Sadio Mane appears to be in high spirits despite contracting coronavirus. “Hello I´ve been tested positive but I am feeling good and not showing heavy symptoms. I will begin my quarantine and recovery process immediately,” the Senegalese striker of Livepool, wrote on Instagram.

“Make sure that you stay safe and follow all rules to protect yourself and your loved ones to avoid a second wave of the COVID-19 Virus spreading all over the world.

“I will be back stronger than before! We will get through this together.”

Liverpool have confirmed that the Senegalese tested positive for coronavirus on Friday night.

He’s become the second Liverpool player to contract the disease lately after Thiago Alcantara.

The duo will miss the trip to Aston Villa on Sunday but are expected to be available for the Everton clash on October 17.
