Ahead of the two friendly matches Nigeria lined up in October, the Super eagles’ handlers have called up defender, Tyronne Ebuehi as a replacement for injured Wilfred Ndidi.

According to ESPN reports, Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr confirmed the new development while also lamenting the absence of Ndidi.

“We will miss him so much,” he continued.

“I have spoken to him, of course. He must be patient now and take his time to get well.”

The new call-up, Ebuehi played cameo role in Nigeria’s qualifying matches to Russia 2018, but eventually made the cut to the World Cup. He was a substitute player to Bryan Idowu in Nigeria’s defeat of Iceland.
