CONTROVERSY: STATISTICALLY, MESSI BEATS RONALDO AT DOMESTIC LEVEL
The Lionel Messi- Cristiano Ronaldo rivalry has taken a twist as Spanish publication, Tribuna, dug out statistics that put Messi above Ronaldo at the domestic level.
According to the publication, the stats show a big gap between the two football icons which it claims, the media try to hide.
It however acknowledges that both Messi and Ronaldo are regarded as the two best players in the world. The league stats however show that the Portuguese isn’t at Messi’s level.
Although their stats are comparable, people tend to forget one important detail — Ronaldo is two years older.
