The crisis in FC Barcelona appears escalating. With the row of Lionel Messi and that of Luis Suarez resolved, a new crisis appears emerging.
The new coach, Roland Koeman reportedly has grown frustrated with the club president, Josep Maria Bartomeu and his board of directors.
Tribuna, quoting another Spanish publication, the Madrid-based Marca, reports that Koeman is beginning to show some mistrust due to the Barcelona board’s treatment.
Koeman fears that his decision to part ways with the likes of Luis Suarez and Ivan Rakiti could deteriorate his relationship with the squad that he has to work with.
Josep Maria Bartomeu and other board members, for their part, haven’t backed the Dutchman enough in terms of the squad’s upgrade. Hence, Koeman has been left ‘defenceless’ by the club’s top brass.
